Crisil Q1 net profit down 19.09% at Rs 51.10 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 51.10 crore for the quarter ended March 31 2019 as compared to Rs 63.16 crore in the same period last year registering a year-on-year decline of 19.09 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose by 0.64 per cent at Rs 289.57 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 287.72 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter operating expenses increased by 9.06 per cent to Rs 218.58 crore from Rs 200.42 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 0.77 per cent at Rs 11.64 crore versus (Mar`18 Rs 11.73 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 20.81 per cent to Rs 70.99 crore as against Rs 89.65 crore in the year ago period while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 21.31 per cent in March quarter.

Taxation decreased by 16.95 per cent at Rs 25.14 crore (Mar`18 Rs 30.27 crore).
