Lloyds Metals & Ener Q4 net profit down 21.09% at Rs 7.82 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 7.82 crore for the quarter ended March 31 2019 as compared to Rs 9.91 crore in the same period last year registering a year-on-year decline of 21.09 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 18.16 per cent at Rs 128.90 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 109.09 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter operating expenses increased by 31.63 per cent to Rs 132.92 crore from Rs 100.98 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 171.83 per cent at Rs 20.55 crore versus (Mar`18 Rs 7.56 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 149.57 per cent to Rs -4.02 crore as against Rs 8.11 crore in the year ago period while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 141.99 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 48.20 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.95 crore
