VANTAGE board to consider scheme of demerger on Aug 27; scrip surges nearly 5%

Mumbai-headquartered Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) Vantage Corporate Services on Monday announced the company will consider the proposed scheme of arrangement for demerger of the Education Business Service Undertaking of Vantage Corporate Services Ltd to Vantage Education Academy Ltd in its board meeting scheduled on August 27.

“The Board of Directors of the company will hold a meeting on August 27 2014 to consider the proposed scheme of arrangement for demerger of the Education Business Service Undertaking of Vantage Corporate Services Ltd to Vantage Education Academy Ltd (Resulting Company) pursuant to the provisions of Sections 391 to 394 of the Companies Act.1956 and the valuation report” antage Corporate Services said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.

Boosted by development shares of company jumped 4.89 per cent to trade at Rs 9.65 apiece at 11:00 hours from previous close on BSE.
