  • Low trading activities in the mandis kept pressure on the market sentiments for most Agri commodities even at these lower levels. Spices rates crashed on improved sowing reports amidst lack of export and domestic demand.
  • Chana, Guar failed to take any strong direction even as Guar did find some support at these levels. Lack of pickup in demand kept trend down for both. Oil complex and fibre did recover to some extent as short covering at these low levels helped support the prices to some extent.
  • Weather in coming days would remain important for the Rabi crops as that would be beneficial for the sown crop and could lead to a temporary fall in rates for the commodities, while leading to prospects of improved crop productivity.
