Indian rupee started the day higher against the dollar but was unable to hold on to its gains as headline inflation numbers came higher. However, it managed to end the day marginally higher against the dollar.

• Indian rupee started the day higher against the dollar but was unable to hold on to its gains as headline inflation numbers came higher. However, it managed to end the day marginally higher against the dollar.
• India's October WPI came higher at 7 percent against a previous figure of 6.46 percent. Also, August WPI has been revised to 6.99 percent from 6.1 percent raising concerns about the health of Indian economy.
• On an annual basis Eurozone GDP decreased 0.4 percent in Q3, following a 0.5 percent fall registered the previous quarter.
