    Market Roundup
Key benchmark indices edged lower in choppy trade as better-than-anticipated US economic data raised expectations that the Federal Reserve will slow the pace of monetary stimulus to the US economy. Selected Pharma and IT stocks witnessed selective buying only. The Consumer Durable sector was the major gainer, on the flip side Metal, Power and Realty sectorwere the major laggards. The dismal performance of big corporates during the Q1 earnings also adversely affected the sentiments. Market breadth remain negative.
