L&T has bagged two EPC orders worth $480 million for two dual fuel-fired gas-based power plants in Bangladesh. 

Tech Mahindra has been selected by Premium Credit, an insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland to deliver front and back office application services

Havells India net profit rose 24.83% to Rs 136.92 crore on 13.01% growth in total income to Rs 1324.05 crore in Q4 March 2014 over Q4 March 2013. 

Shipping Corporation of India reported net profit of Rs 13.24 crore in Q4 March 2014 as compared to net loss of Rs 281.44 crore in Q4 March 2013.

Market Roundup

Markets have ended on a flat note amid initial volatility on firm Asian stocks. Volatility continued the entire session as the traders roll over positions in the F & O segment ahead of expiry. FIIs selling in four out of five trading sessions also dented the investor’s sentiments. Shares of private sector banks edged higher, on the flip side stocks from the PSU basket have declined. IT stocks rose on good US economic data The BSE Mid-Cap index was up 33.89 points or 0.4%. The BSE Small-Cap index was up 145.17 points or 1.63%. Both these indices outperformed the Sensex.
