Gold prices lost for yet another week to close lower by around half a percent as some buyers cashed in gains after its biggest quarterly rise in nearly 30 years, but moves were muted as U.S employment increased in March and wages rebounded, signs of economic resilience that could allow Fed to raise interest rates in near term. The metal is sensitive to moves in U.S. rates, as a rise would lift the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets like bullion, while boosting the dollar.
