Samco Mutual Fund to Launch Multi Asset Allocation Fund

Samco Mutual Fund to Launch Multi Asset Allocation Fund
  • Last Updated: May 07,2025 |
  • Religare Broking

The Samco Mutual Fund is prepared to launch the Multi-Asset Allocation Fund (MA AF), an open-ended scheme of investment having investment assets in equities, fixed income, gold/silver funds, and real estate funds. This fund is expected to open on 4th December 2024 and close on 18th December 2024.

Diversified Asset Strategy

This fund seeks to achieve a proportionate capital growth and income mix by investing in equity, debt, commodity derivatives, gold and silver ETFs, REITs, and InvITs units.

The scheme will be benchmarked against:

  • 65% Nifty 50 TRI
  • 20% CRISIL Short-Term Bond Fund Index
  • 10% Domestic Price of Gold
  • 5% Domestic Price of Silver

The scheme will classify 20% to 80% in equity and equity-related products, 10% to 80% in debt and money market instruments, 10% to 80% in units of Gold ETFs, Silver ETFs, and Gold-Related Instruments that may be allowed from time to time by SEBI Rules and any other mode of investment in commodities except commodity derivatives, and 0% to 30% in Exchange-Traded Commodities.

Experienced Fund Management

The Samco Multi-Asset Allocation Fund will be actively managed by a team of professionals including Nirali Bhansali, Umeshkumar Mehta, and Dhawal Dhanani. For the market outlooks, due to the successful handling of the adverse market indicators of the team, the team will be able to make frequent changes in the asset allocation. The management strategy is focused on maximizing profits as much as possible and, at the same time, minimizing risk, thereby providing the market with a portfolio that will suit both the conservative and the aggressive investor. Their huge experience in managing multi-asset funds makes the fund capable of delivering good results and has the potential to grow in the long run.

Notable Features of the Fund

  • Minimum Investment: The minimum investment for lumpsum is ₹ 5000, and in multiples of ₹ 1thereafter. For SIPs, the minimum is as low as ₹500 every month for at least 12 installments.
  • Dynamic Asset Allocation: One advantage of the fund is it can meet investment targets by shifting the ratio of equity, debts, and commodity investments per market conditions.
  • NFO Price: During the NFO – New Fund Offer period, it is planned that Units will have a price offered at ₹ 10 per unit.

Why Choose the Samco Multi-Asset Allocation Fund?

The Samco Multi-Asset Allocation Fund is suitable for investors investing in volatile markets as it employs a strategy for assessing risks based on preferred client risk tolerances. It made a wealth plan for the long-term, based on equity for growth, debt for stability, and gold for safety. Suitably suitable for short-term and long-term investors who seek capital gain and income, the fund provides a diversified mix of equity, fixed-income instruments, ETCDs, gold and silver ETFs, REITs and InvITs. Due to active management and dynamic asset allocation, this fund allows investors to get the best out of emerging prospects while managing risks in a volatile environment.
